COMMON THREAD
Common Thread is a travelling communal embroidery project which invites people of all abilities to come together and enjoy the benefits of stitch around a table-sized embroidery frame. In a world where individualism reigns, we value the power of working together to create something beautiful; ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’. In stitching side by side, Common Thread offers the opportunity to slow down, learn and share and in doing so breaks social barriers. We welcome all abilities to our table, exploring the craft of embroidery with a ‘no-rules’ attitude, encouraging playfulness and the letting go of expectations. Common thread made its first appearance at New Brewery Arts' CRAFTIVAL. ​
